Thelma Pierron

Thelma Betty Pierron, 96, of Circleville, Ohio and formerly of DeGraff, Ohio peacefully passed from this life on August 11, 2015. She was 96 years young.

Thelma was married to her beloved husband of 50 years, the late Alfred F. Pierron.

She was mother of 7 children: Marie (Clifford) Harestad, Alfred (Nicolina) Pierron, Ann (the late Ronald) McCoy, Scott (Linda) Pierron, Antoinette (David) Current, the late Jean (Herbert) Park and the late Robert M. Pierron. She was a Grandmother of 13, including the late Billy McCoy, and is survived by many great-grandchildren.

Thelma was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi service organization, the Library Guild of Mercy Hospital, and St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. She retired from the Indian Lake School System after many years of service.

Thelma loved life on her farm and gardening. She was often found singing, dancing, sewing, reading or enjoying a good game of cards. Especially treasured were times spent with family and friends.

The funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, Russells Point, Ohio. Visitation will begin at 9am at the church, with services following at 10am. Burial will be in Harrod Cemetery, Huntsville, Ohio.

The Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
