Thomas J. Peck, 91, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Logan Acres Care Center, Bellefontaine.
He was born on July 22, 1924 in Sidney, Ohio, a son of the late Orla C. and Adeline (Rumely) Peck.
On June 9, 1945, he married the former Ruth A. Kinnard and she preceded him in death on September 22, 1997. Also preceding him in death was a son, Mark Peck, sister, Rita Hart, brothers, Charles Peck, Richard Peck and John Bartlett Peck and a granddaughter, Natalie Comer.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Comer of Bellefontaine; son, Timothy Peck of Bellefontaine; daughter-in-law, Patricia Peck of Bellefontaine; three grandchildren, Emily (Kraig) Hoffmann of Lyndhurst, Ohio, Josh Peck and Kristina Barnett both of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Drew and Matthew Hoffmann; a sister, Patricia Campbell of San Diego, California and many nieces and nephews.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine and also a member of B.P.O. Elks #132 and a past member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a 1942 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and was an avid bowler and golfer. He worked as the former CEO of National Extrusion & Manufacturing in Bellefontaine.
Father Shawn Landenwitch will officiate a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
