Thomas West

Thomas Edgar West, 75, of Shawnee Springs United Church Home, Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine. He was born July 28, 1934 in Gary, Indiana, to the late Kline Blake and Helen Ford (Thomas) West.

He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Shirley West and Dorothy West both of Bellefontaine. Preceding him in death were two brothers, James and John David West.

Tom worked in Cleveland, Ohio, and retired as a practical nurse. He moved from Cleveland to Bellefontaine in February of 1993, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine. He enjoyed working on his computer and the company of his best friend, his cat “Bo”.

Pastors William West and David Ellis will conduct a memorial service at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 30, 2010, at Shawnee Springs 400 Kristina Dr. Bellefontaine, Ohio. Burial will be in the Bellefontaine Cemetery at later date.

The staff at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
