Travis Knox

Travis W. Knox, 32, of Rushsylvania, Ohio, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2009, at the Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was born on January 3, 1977 in Kenton, Ohio, to Arthur E. (Missy) Knox of Huntsville, Ohio, and Judy Wirick of Rushsylvania.

On May 15, 2004, he married Amanda Breneman in West Mansfield, Ohio, and she survives along with their children, Tyler, Kayla and Kyra Knox all of Rushsylvania; a brother, Arthur (Jamie) Knox Jr. of Bellefontaine; sister, Paige Knox of Huntsville; step-brother, Tommy Tuttle; maternal grandmother, Martha Thomas of Rushsylvania; paternal grandmother, Doris Wessel of Bellefontaine; and nieces and nephews, Jacob Knox and Christain and Emily Postle.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joe Thomas and Pearl Knox.

Travis worked for Honda in Marysville, Ohio, in the weld shop. He was a 1995 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School, where he played football. He enjoyed hunting and all sports.

Pastor John James will conduct the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 20, 2009, at the Rushsylvania Church of Christ, where calling hours will be Wednesday, August 19, 2009, from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M.

The Eichholtz Funeral Home in Rushsylvania handled the arrangements.
