Biography

Troy E. Meyer, 42, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday evening June 6, 2013, at his home. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to George Herman and Rebecca “Becky” Harrison Meyer August 14, 1970. He was preceded in death by his father December 17, 2008.

Troy is survived by his mother, Becky Meyer of Bellefontaine; his wife, Sarah Wilson Meyer; a son, Troy Andrew “Drew” Meyer of Bellefontaine; a daughter, Sophia Rose Meyer of Newark, Ohio; a brother, Kent (Yun Song) Meyer of Ellicott City, Maryland; a close friend, Tom V. Ropelenski of Strongsville, Ohio and a nephew, Hayden Meyer.

Troy worked as a truck driver and collected 1:64 scale model cars, trucks, semis and trains. He loved listening to music, especially Tiesto – Search of Sunrise 4.

Calling hours will be at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine Sunday, June 9, 2013, from 2 to 5 P.M. The funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, June 10, 2013, at the funeral home with Fr. Patrick Sheridan officiating. Interment will be at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
