Twila Howell
Twila A. Howell, 79, of Bellefontaine passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016 in Mary Rutan Hospital ER, as a result of an automobile accident.
She was born on October 18, 1936, the daughter of the late Jack and Hazel (Scott) Howell.
She is survived by her long-time loving partner, David Downing Sr. along with David’s son, David (Katie) Downing Jr., three sisters, Dorris Mills of Bellefontaine, Velva McDermick of Santa Fe and Donna Jean, a brother, Charles Howell of Wapakoneta and many nieces and nephews.
Twila had worked for KTH and also at the Comfort Inn, Bellefontaine, but she loved helping David haul livestock. She was a fun-loving person, always smiling and laughing. She never knew a stranger. She enjoyed music and in her younger years, she sang and yodeled.
Dr. Scott Anderson will officiate a funeral service on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St. Bellefontaine. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Gutman.
