Valeda Ann Wentz

Valeda Ann Wentz, age 88, of Leesburg, Florida went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday evening, February 20, 2018 at the Leesburg Regional Medical Center.

She was born October 24, 1929 in West Liberty, to the late Ernest and Leota Greer. Valeda was also preceded in death by her husband John L. Wentz, whom she married in 1952 and her brother, Jim Greer.

Valeda is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Jim Faber and a nephew, Doug (Cathy) Faber, all of Leesburg, Florida; a great-nephew, Justin (Leysa) Faber of Inverness, Florida and a sister-in-law, Sharon Greer of Huntsville, Ohio.

Valeda was a 1947 graduate of West Liberty High School.  She went to work at the Farmers Banking Company in West Liberty, Ohio in 1949.  She worked in banking until she retired in 1981 as Vice President of the Huntington Bank.  Valeda was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church in West Liberty.

A graveside service will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 at 1 P.M. at the Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty.

The arrangements are under the direction of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty.
