Vaughn Dale Larson, 53, of South Vienna, Ohio went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ Wednesday, October 19, 2011 after suffering a massive stroke. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio August 1, 1958, a son of the late Harry & Ruth (Price) Hall and Lavern “Bud” & Patricia Larson. He was also preceded in death by step-sisters, Patty and Carol.
On July 27, 2002, he married the former Joyce (Dillard) Cooke and she survives along with sons, Chad Larson and Joshua Larson; daughters, Christa (Adam) Pack, Tonya Price all of Bellefontaine and are children of Bernice Miller; two step-daughters, Jami Castle (fiancée’ Heath Schaefer), Jodi (Sean) Wilson; grandchildren, Jacob, Aleesha, Dakota, Annabelle, Gabe, Hannah, Skyler, Colt, Mylez, Morgan, Austin, Mason and Brock; siblings, Barb King of Lakeview, Ohio, Lonnie (John) Ferguson of Rushsylvania, Ohio, Chuck (Cindy) Larson of Kenton, Ohio, Tina (Steve) Miller of Zanesfield, Ohio, Harriet (Robert) Strawn of Belle Center, Ohio, Dave (Angie) Hall of Bellefontaine, Leanne Larson of Kenton, Ohio, Chuck Lebley, Sharron Richardson, Terri Lebley, Malea Lebley; special nieces, nephews and cousins.
For twenty six years he was employed at Honda of America Manufacturing where he was loved by many. He enjoyed spending time with his grandbabies, fishing, boating, and working in flower beds and woodworking. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
Pastor Doug Surber will officiate the funeral service Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 1 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours will be Monday, October 24, 2011 from 1 to 3 P.M. and 6 to 9 P.M. Interment will take place at the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
