Vera Neuenschwander

Vera M. Neuenschwander, 93, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at her daughter’s residence in Bellefontaine, surrounded by her family.

She was born on August 14, 1918 in Domestic, IN to the late Albert and Gertrude (Eckrote) Minger.

Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Connie J. and Stanley C. Burger of Bellefontaine and 2 grandchildren, Tina and Sara Burger. She is preceded in death by 5 sisters, Wilma Minger, Velma Manning, Fern Kable, Florence Chrisman and Helen Beer.

She lived in Berne, IN for a number of years and worked on the assembly line at CTS in Berne, IN for 18 years until she retired in 1983. In 1985 she moved to Ohio to be with her family.

Vera loved spending time with her family, especially having adventures with her granddaughters. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, sewing and embroidering.

Her zest for life and determination is a great inspiration to her family and all those who knew her.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine is handling the arrangements and a Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
