Vera Peters
Vera Jean Peters, age 62, of Cable, Ohio, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at her residence.
She was born September 2, 1951 in Urbana, Ohio, a daughter of the late Zeldon D. and Viola (Brunke) Instine. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Ann Instine.
Survivors include a daughter, Heather Ilse of Cable; a son, Jason Peters of Bellefontaine, Ohio; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill Instine and Bob (Becky) Instine both of Cable; her former husband, Robert Peters of Lancaster, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
A 1969 graduate of West Liberty High School, she was a member of the F.O.E. Ladies Auxiliary #2166 in Bellefontaine and a former member of the Frank D. Castle V.F.W. Post #1080 Ladies Auxiliary in Bellefontaine. Vera was employed by Wal-Mart in Bellefontaine, Ohio retiring in 2013.
Gene Marine will officiate the funeral service Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 11 A.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours will be held Monday, June 2, 2014 from 5 to 8 P.M. Interment will be in the Concord Cemetery.
The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
