Vern Hoffman

Vern C. Hoffman, 57, of Belle Center, Ohio, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2009, at the Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was born May 13, 1951, in Union County, Ohio, to the late Robert F. & Clarabelle Piper Hoffman.

Surviving are brothers, Dan Hoffman of Peoria, Ohio, Dennis Hoffman of Plain City, Ohio and John Hoffman of Mechanicsburg, Ohio; 2 sisters, Janet Cook and Dolly Step, both of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, and numerous nieces & nephews.

Preceding him in death were 4 brothers, Robert, Frank, Richard & Marvin, and 2 sisters, Hazel Sanko & Carrie Dunbar.

Vern worked at R.T.C. Industries in Bellefontaine since May 1995, and never knew a stranger. He enjoyed putting model cars together and puttering around his vegetable garden each summer.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 6, 2009, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, with Pastor Bryan Meadows officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Logan County Residential Homes Activity Fund.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
