Victoria Kathryn "Tori" Geib, 35, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 11:22 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2021, at the Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born in Marion, Ohio March 2, 1986, a daughter of Victor Madison and Bonnie Sue (Adams) Geib.
Tori is survived by her parents; her sister, Sarah Elizabeth Geib; maternal grandmother, Nancy (Tom Ralston) Adams; maternal grandfather, Danny (Jane) Adams and her beloved dog, Georgie Alexander.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Douglas Grant Geib I and Virginia Mae Geib and a special cat, Midnight.
Tori had been a passionate advocate for metastatic breast cancer (MBC) and had worked at the local, state and national levels to bring awareness for MBC as well as change in funding and legislation. She had a passion for cooking and baking, including at home, as a former professional chef and competing at county and state fairs. She also inspired and taught the children of her cousins and friends who she considered to be her nieces and nephews. Tori also had a love for music, especially performing and played several instruments along with being a vocalist. She generally preferred to stay busy, though she enjoyed travelling in her free time. She travelled to many places domestically and internationally, her favorite destination being Florence, Italy.
Tori was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Bellefontaine where she was included in the choir as well as being a soloist on many holidays. She was a graduate of both Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Columbus State Community College, the latter leading into her culinary career. Her work and achievements in advocacy for metastatic breast cancer are too many to list, though most can be seen through the “Advocacy and Media” section of her website: www.metastaticmillennial.org
The family will receive friends and family from 12 noon to 1:45 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2021, at the First Lutheran Church in Bellefontaine, where Pastor Larry Novak will officiate the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.
Burial will be at the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine is honored to serve the Geib family.
