Victoria Smith

Victoria L. “Vickie” Smith, 61, of Lakeview, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio.

She was born August 19, 1952, in Urbana, Ohio to Dow Thomas, who survives in Rushsylvania, Ohio and the late Norma Jeannine (Wingfield) Thomas-Smith, who passed away December 24, 2013.

On April 10, 1969, she married Steve Smith in Urbana, and he survives along with their children, Lynette (Duane) Tankersley of Seminole, Florida, Lori (Pat) Adams of Hubert Heights, Ohio and Phillip (Cat) Smith of Orland Park, Illinois; five grandchildren, Jesse, Jake, Gabrielle, Corrin and Makya; her siblings, Jill Thomas of Bellefontaine, Ohio and Aaron (Patti) Thomas of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Vickie was a homemaker and served as the Treasurer of the Indian Lake Elks Lodge. She enjoyed sewing and quilting.

Pastor Dottie Kaiser will officiate the 10:00 A.M. funeral service Monday, January 13, 2013, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine where calling hours will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, January 12, 2013. Interment will be at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
