Virginia A. Castle

Virginia A. Castle, age 63, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 5:04 A.M. Sunday, August 5, 2018, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. She was born in Marysville, Ohio November 2, 1954, to the late Lee and Emma Holycross.

On July 21, 2003, she married Oakley Castle and he survives.

She is also survived by her nine children, Tammy Burgess of Bellefontaine, Donald Ray (Janet) Burgess Jr. of Bellefontaine, Richard (Kimberly) Burgess of Morrisville, Indiana, Brandon Castle of Bellefontaine, Jason Castle of Lakeview, Ohio, Joseph Castle of Lakeview, Ricky Castle of Columbus, Ohio, Valerie Johnson of Columbus and Candice Castle of Miamisburg, Ohio; many grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cathy (Randy) Hobbs of Indiana and Jackie Hurley of Bellefontaine; three brothers, Junior Holycross of Bellefontaine, Jim Holycross of Columbus and Tommy Holycross of Bellefontaine and numerous nieces and nephews.

Virginia enjoyed taking care of her kids and grandkids. She was very proud of her Native American heritage. In her spare time she loved doing puzzles. Virginia was known for her love and care to her family, and for simply being a great person.

A private burial will be held at a later date.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
