Virginia Kilbury
Virginia M. Kilbury, 104, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Friday morning, February 14, 2014 at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine.
She was born in Logansville, Ohio December 15, 1909, to the late Clarence Oliver and Bessie M. (Fisher) Ellis.
On November 25, 1927, Virginia married James Shannon Kilbury and he preceded her in death March 23, 1997. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Colletta Reser; an infant son, Richard Kilbury; a sister, Maxine Winsett, and a grandson that she raised, James Robert Geuy.
Virginia is survived by her daughters, June Clarice Bridges of Bellefontaine and Janet Coleen Malone of Greenville, Texas; nineteen grandchildren including two that she raised, Judy (Bob) Dunn and Joyce (Jim) Bayhan; thirty great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.
Virginia was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Bellefontaine. She was a certified ceramics teacher and taught classes for many years. Virginia like to travel and enjoyed knitting, especially hats for the Christmas tree at the church.
Pastor Jonathan Bull will officiate the funeral service Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at 11 A.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
