Virginia Marlene Napier, 81, of Belle Center, passed away at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 27, 1934 to the late Lee and Josephine Spring.
On February 21, 1955, Marlene married Clifton Napier in Bellefontaine, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on October 1, 1996. She was also preceded in death by two great granddaughters.
Marlene is survived by her three daughters, Sharon K. (Donald) Stevens of Rushsylvania, Brenda C. (Frank) Carl of Bellefontaine and Mary K. (Noah) Castle of North Lewisburg; two sons, Robert Alan Napier and Tony Mason Napier, both of Bellefontaine; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 13 step-great grandchildren.
A 1952 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, Marlene worked at Westinghouse for 10 years before going to work at Siemens for 10 years. She was also a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 2-6 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 306 N. Elizabeth Street, Belle Center. Pastor Shelley Stephenson will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 23rd at the funeral home. Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center.
