Vivian Elizabeth LeVan 87, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Friday August 28, 2010 at her residence. She was born March 17, 1923 in Logan County Ohio to the late David Leroy and Anna Mary Johnson Allen. She married Elmer LeVan June 14, 1942 in Logan County, and he preceded her in death February 2, 1980.

She is survived by one son, Raymond (Cindi) LeVan of West Liberty, Ohio; three daughters, Linda Botkin, Sherry (Richard) Smith, and Tamara (David) Gump all of Bellefontaine. Also surviving are three brothers, Wilbur “Sam” (Barbara) Allen of Tucson, Arizona, Fred (Janet) Allen and Gary (Louise) Allen of Bellefontaine; two sisters, Betty Hunt and Jean Dyer of Bellefontaine; a daughter-in-law Cathy LeVan of Bellefontaine; a sister-in-law, Gerri Allen of Bellefontaine; twenty five grandchildren and forty three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Wayne LeVan and Todd Alan LeVan, and two brothers Merle Allen and Elbert (Chic) Allen.

Pastor Chuck Temple will conduct the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday September 1, 2010, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are Tuesday August 31, 2010, from 4 to 7 P.M., and one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow the funeral service in the North Greenfield Cemetery in West Mansfield, Ohio.
