Wanda “Lucy” Lucille Dipple, 91, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 in Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. She was born October 2, 1920, the daughter of the late L. Abe and Mellie M (Spurlock) Dipple.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Florence Hatcher and a brother, Harold I. Dipple, Sr.
She is survived by two nephews, Harold I. Dipple, Jr. of Bellefontaine and Jon A. Hatcher of California, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
She graduated from Bellefontaine High School and then went on to business college in Muncie, Indiana. She was employed as a secretary at Bull Dog and later Siemens in Bellefontaine for the majority of her working career. She loved to travel and had visited all 48 of the continental United States. She also enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.
Visitation will be at Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon. Interment will be at a later date with her nephew, Deacon Harold Dipple, Jr. officiating.
