Wanda Jean Rollins, age 76, of East Liberty, Ohio passed away Friday morning June 30, 2017, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Wanda was born in Mt. Sterling, Ohio September 5, 1940, to the late Fred and Leatha (Dials) Lemaster. She was also preceded in death by her former husband John Alfred Rollins; a son, Rodney D. Rollins; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a sister, Evelyn Passwaters.
Wanda worked at Marysville Memorial Hospital for twenty five plus years and retired as the Dietary Supervisor. She loved gardening, flowers, and line dancing. Wanda proudly supported veteran causes, women’s cancer groups and St. Jude’s Hospital. She was a member of the Bellefontaine First Church of God.
Wanda is survived by her sons, Rick (Tami) Rollins of East Liberty, Russell Rollins of Zanesfield, Ohio and Roger (Melissa) Rollins of Huntsville, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Vicki Rollins of Urbana, Ohio; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda (Jim) Helriggle of Russells Point, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Pastor Gary Brown will officiate the funeral service Friday, July 7, 2017, at 11A.M. at the First Church of God in Bellefontaine, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Middleburg Cemetery in Middleburg, Ohio.
The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine handled funeral the arrangements.
