Warren G Sprague Sr. found the comfort he was looking for in the arms of his Lord and Savior. Warren departed his earthy home Friday evening Oct. 30, 2015, and was reunited with loved ones who had passed before him.
Warren was born February 10, 1921 son of Darwin and Eva Sprague.
November 25, 1944 he married Zelna Spicer, who preceded him in death Feb. 16, 2011.
Warren was also preceded in death by brothers Robert, Homer, & Wilbur, and sisters Grace, Evelyn, Maxine and Pauline.
Warren is survived by 2 sons he thought the world of- Warren (Karen) Sprague Jr. and Larry Sprague both of Jackson Center. His family grew to include granddaughters Cindy Copeland, Kim (Eric) Voress and Christy(Dan) Akers. Then was blessed with great grandchildren Kaylee and Kasey Copeland, Maissen, Clay and Shia Akers and Olivia and Brooke Voress.
Warren spent a lifetime farming and retired from Textron as a quality control inspector. He was a member of the Jackson Center United Methodist Church, Eastern Star Pleiades Chapter 298 of Sidney and was a Master Mason of Stokes Lodge #305.
Warren treasured visits and reminiscing with friends and family. He always looked forward to Holidays and cook-outs at the family pond. He will be greatly missed by the family and those who knew him.
Friends may call at the Jackson Center United Methodist Church on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. with masonic services at 7:45 p.m. Pastor Rob Ulmer will conduct funeral services at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 5th at the church with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Jackson Center.
