Warren Yoder

Warren R. Yoder, 86, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. He was born May 25, 1923 in Shelby County, Ohio, to the late Loren M. and Ida Mae (Hatch) Yoder.

On June 27, 1946, he married Helen J. Poland in Bellefontaine, and she preceded him in death March 26, 2005. Also preceding him in death were two brothers.

Warren is survived by a daughter, Jane (Bruce) Faber of Sebring, Florida; three grandchildren, Deb and John Laird and Jennifer Faber; and five great grandchildren, Isaac, Laban, and Jonah Laird and Courtney and Brooke Zirkle.

An auto body technician, Warren graduated in 1942 from DeGraff High School. He was a member of the Bellefontaine American Legion Post #173, and loved to square dance, travel and camping.

Pastor Jonathan Bull will conduct the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 27, 2009, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, with one hour of calling prior to the service. Burial will be in the Bellefontaine Cemetery, with a military service by the Logan County Honor Guard.
