William "Bill" Calvin Dohse

William "Bill" C. Dohse, 77, of DeGraff, passed away at 3:20 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023, at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was born on January 11, 1946, in Springhills, Ohio, a son of the late James Karl Marquis Dohse and Leyla Faye (Donald) Dohse.

Bill is survived by his son, Michael (Melessa) Casey; two grandchildren, Zachariah Casey, and Abigail Casey; two sisters, Debra (Wanda) Carter, and Juli Dohse; a brother, Tom (Kim) Dohse; and many nieces and nephews, including Chastidy Luellen; and Jim Bowling. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Bowling, and Doris Staley; and a brother, Karl “Mac” Dohse.

Bill was a retired military veteran, serving in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1966 and in the U.S. Air Force from 1967 to 1985.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023, in Springhills Cemetery with military rites performed by the Logan County Veteran Honor Guard.
