William A. Cane, Jr., 62, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2010, at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born December 9, 1947, in Lima, Ohio, to the late William A. Sr. and Mary E. (Clark) Cane. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Cane and a sister, Constance Croston.
Surviving is a brother, Elder Rockey (Evangelist Karen) Cane of Bellefontaine; sisters, Marcia Johnson and Christine (Larry Applin) Cane both of Bellefontaine; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
A United States Army veteran, he was a self employed contractor and had worked for BLH in Lima, Ohio. He attended Buckeye Local Schools and was an avid BINGO player and in his younger days was an avid softball player.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 21, 2010, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine with Larry Guy Adams and Elder Rockey Cane officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to
7:00 P.M. prior to the service.
