William Connolly

William “Bill” Connolly, 57, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2009, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was born in Logan County June 23, 1952, to Junior P. and Imogene (Lame) Connolly.

On July 2, 2002, he married Kim A. Boggs in Woodstock, Ohio, and she survives along with his mother, Imogene, who survives in Zanesfield, Ohio. Also surviving are two sons, Shawn Connolly of Grove City, Ohio, and Clayton (Amy) Connolly of Marysville, Ohio; step-daughter, Heather Fields of Marysville; a brother Gerald “Jerry” (Jean Ann) Connolly of Mingo, Ohio; a sister, Sharon Boyles of North Lewisburg, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Kelly, Shane and MacKenzie Connolly, Tyler and Carly Connolly, and Darien and Logan Fields.

He was preceded in death by his father, Junior, March 29, 2007.

Bill was a graduate of Triad High School in 1970. He enjoyed working with his son, Clayton, helping at Sugar Camp, walking in the woods and being outside. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Pastor David Hernandez will conduct the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 13, 2009, at the Kauffman-Eichholtz Funeral Home in West Liberty, where calling hours will be Wednesday, August 12, 2009, from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty.
