Biography

William E. “Bill” Craig, 73, of Bellefontaine passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Kindred Hospital, Lima.

He was born in Moorefield, Ohio on July 27, 1943, the son of the late Harry and Bula (Smith) Craig. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Craig and a sister, Nancy Slonecker.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Eckhardt) Craig, whom he married, March 24, 1990 in Bellefontaine, two sons; William “Bill” (Lisa) Craig of Florida and Michael Craig of Bellefontaine, six step-children; Sheryl Epps of Bellefontaine, Ruth (Chip) Longbrake of Rushsylvania, Lenard Epps of West Liberty, Shannon (Gary) Kraut of Wisconsin, Heather (Mike) Bauer and Adrian (Jon) Huffman, both of Bellefontaine, one brother, Paul (Peg) Craig of Delaware, OH and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Bill enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Cincinnati Reds. He was a big fan of country music and spending time fishing.

Bill worked for the Voight Corporation, where he retired.

There are no planned services at this time.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
