William David Huffman, 72, of East Liberty went to be with the Lord Friday morning, March 11, 2016 at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Champaign County on January 14, 1944 to the late William R. and Marjorie (Hunt) Huffman. He was also preceded in death by a brother Steve Huffman, a daughter Debra Bray, 2 great-grandchildren.
David was a retired truck driver. He was a member of the Middletown Church of God in Cable. David was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, camping and was a lifetime member of the NRA.
David is survived by his wife Judy (Lear) Huffman, whom he married on July 4, 1987 at the Ohio Caverns. He is also survived by children: Lisa (William) Wilson, Vanessa (Mike) Osborn, Katherine Linebaugh, Lavern Huffman, Pamela (Dean) Schneider, Judy Rea, John P. (Jessica) Bray II, Matthew Huffman and Thomas (Erica) Bray; twenty-six grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; three brothers: Dan (Gina) Huffman, Mike (Jane) Huffman and Gary (Roshelle) Huffman; his previous wife Brenda J. Huffman and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pastor Robert Instine will officiate a memorial service on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 5pm at the Middletown Church of God, 6205 St. Rt. 296, Cable, Ohio 43009.
The Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
