William Ludwig
William Pearl Ludwig, 88 of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at 2:45 P.M. Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine. He was born October 16, 1923 in Bellefontaine, a son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (McMillen) Ludwig.
On November 29, 1947, in Newport, Kentucky, he married the former Freda Joan Endsley and she preceded him in death February 2, 1996.
Survivors include daughters, Brenda (Mark) Easton and Lois Ann (Todd) Ballinger both of Bellefontaine; sons, Ronald E. Ludwig, Donald L. (Sheila) Ludwig, Bernard W. (Lori) Ludwig and Bruce E. Ludwig, all of Bellefontaine; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a sister, Frances Bennett of Huntsville, Ohio.
He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II and had worked at A. J. Miller for thirty eight years.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will conduct the funeral service Friday, February 3, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 5 to 7 P.M. Interment will be at the East Liberty Cemetery in East Liberty, Ohio with military rites by the Logan County Honor Guard.
