William Samuel "Sam" Miller, 55, of Bellefontaine, passed away peacefully at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Circleville, Ohio on September 25, 1967, a son of the late William Woodrow and Irene (Butcher) Miller.
On June 18, 1990, Sam married Barbara (Lyman) Miller in New Bern, North Carolina and she survives, along with their four children, Jeanette (Ethan) McLaughlin, William "Nate" (Micaela) Miller, Sarah Pieper, and Ashley Woodward; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Hunter, Annabelle, Julya, Taylor, Riley, and Mayson; two brothers, Steven (Tina) Miller, and Dennis Miller; two sisters-in-law, Rita Miller, and Debra (Scott) Henderson; a brother-in-law, Jerry Newman; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Sam was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Newman, and a brother, Ronald Miller.
Sam had owned and operated Right Path Plumbing for many years and was a truck driver for First Choice in White Pigeon, Michigan. Sam enjoyed working with his hands and helping people in need. He was a giver who gave until it hurt. He had an admiration for old cars, especially the ’57 Chevy. Sam especially loved spending time with his family.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street in Bellefontaine. Pastors Mike Sandlin and Scott Henderson will officiate a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at
First Friends Church, 808 W. Columbus Avenue in Bellefontaine. Inurnment will follow in Bellefontaine Cemetery in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Sam’s memory, to the American Cancer Society, 5555 Frantz Road, Dublin, Ohio 43017
