William Sidders

William R. Sidders, 84, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2009 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. He was born on July 9, 1924 in Champaign County Ohio, to the late Harry E. & Elizabeth E. Barger Sidders.

On December 11, 1953, he married Bobbie Rose Sidders in Bellefontaine, and she preceded him in death on January 14, 1964. Also deceased is a brother, Russell L. Sidders, 2 sisters, Sarah A. Yoder and Nellie Mae Lemmon, and 1 great granddaughter.

Surviving are 3 sons, William A. (Carol) Sidders of Quincy, Ohio, Michael R. (Annette) Sidders of Bellefontaine and John E. (Linda) Sidders of Kenton, Ohio; 2 daughters, Susan V. Wynn of Fairborn, Ohio, and Shelia Gray of Trenton, Ohio; a sister, Margery Wiles of DeGraff, Ohio; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

He retired in 1987 from Leroy Dresser Division in Sidney, enjoyed woodworking and fishing in Canada.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 16, 2009, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are Sunday, March 15, 2009, from 2 to 5 P. M. Burial will be in the Huntsville Cemetery following the funeral service.
