William Smith

William L. Smith, 67, of Bellefontaine, passed away Monday afternoon, May 18, 2015 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. He was born in Piqua on November 12, 1947 to the late Gary M. and Dorothy P. (Poland) Smith.

Bill worked many years at RTC. He was a big Elvis Presley fan and loved everything Ohio State. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed playing cards. He attended First Friends Church of Bellefontaine.

Bill is survived by his siblings, Barbara Searle of Belle Center, Dick (Connie) Smith of Bellefontaine and Gary Michael (Lesa) Smith of Berne, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 6-8pm. Pastor Matt Sandlin will officiate the funeral service on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 10am at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held Friday at 2pm at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
