William Stiltner

Biography

William L. “Willie” Stiltner, 73, of DeGraff, passed away at 2:28 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Auglaize Acres in Wapakoneta, Ohio. He was born in Pike County, Kentucky on December 18, 1942 to the late Jonah and Ruby G. (Riddell) Stiltner.

William was married to Kay Stiltner, and later married Phyllis Jean Stiltner, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Stiltner; and three brothers, John, Henry and Elmer Stiltner.

William is survived by his four children; Shane, Ruby Jean, Golda and Timmy; many grandchildren and step-grandchildren; three sisters, Olijean Scott, Golda Scott and Bonnie Lou Church; and several nieces and nephews.

He had worked for Mid-States Container in DeGraff and enjoyed fishing, cooking, and playing guitar and singing.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12 Noon on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes Street, DeGraff, Ohio, where visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Quincy, Ohio.
