William Todd

William H. Todd, 85, of West Liberty, Ohio, died Friday, December 19, 2008, at Mary Rutan Hospital In Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was born in Cleveland, a son of the late Alfred S. and Margaret Mary Patton Todd. On September 10, 1988, he married the former Sheryl S. Berry in Bellefontaine, and she preceded him in death June 25, 2007.

Survivors include two stepdaughters, Annette (George) Organ and Charlotte Lillard, both of Bellefontaine; a sister, Mary Margaret Swedyk of New Port Richie, Florida.; step-grandchildren, Merisha Organ and Derick Organ; a niece, Mary Crawford of Florida; and a nephew, Edward Swedyk of Colorado.

A former worker for the New York Central and Conrail railroads, he retired from the city of Bellefontaine water department in 1987. He attended St. Patrick Church in Bellefontaine.

Deacon Harold Dipple conducts the graveside service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2008, at the Huntsville Cemetery.
