Wilma Dougherty

Wilma Lucille Dougherty, 94, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009, at her residence. She was born in LaSalle, Michigan, August 18, 1914, to the late Roy Erving and Elizabeth Anne Crowe Carney.

Surviving is a daughter, Phyllis Wilber of West Liberty, Ohio, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis Clark Dougherty and William Henry Dougherty.

Wilma worked as an office nurse who loved gardening, bird watching, and taking country drives. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed her cat, Smokey.

The staff of the Kauffman-Eichholtz Funeral Home in West Liberty handled the arrangements. There are no funeral services scheduled.
