Wm. Kevin Bruce, 58, of West Liberty passed away at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at his home. He was born in Marion, Ohio on July 9, 1958 to Priscilla Deane (Smith) Bruce Gallogly the late Dr. W.K. Bruce.

Kevin is survived by his two children; Wm. Kyle (Robin) Bruce of Columbus and Kendra Lee Bruce of Huntington Beach, California; mother and step-father, Priscilla (Myron) Smith Bruce Gallogly; his former wife Shelley Inskeep; his significant other Julie Walborn of West Liberty; step-mother, Robin Bruce of Indian Lake; a sister, Andrea (Kurt) Campbell of Bakersfield, California and Mesa, Arizona, and their children Tyler & Maribeth Sublette and daughter Layla of Scottsdale, Arizona, Christopher Barton and son Arlo of Durango, Colorado, and Kathleen Barton of Mesa, Arizona; a sister, Heather Slaughter of Pinehurst, North Carolina and her children Hannah & Kameron Westerman; a brother, Brian James Bruce of Bellefontaine, and his children Christine Bruce of Sandusky, Samantha Bruce of Delaware, Andrew Bruce of Santa Rosa, California, and David Bruce of Indian Lake; a brother, Martin (Anne) Bruce of Cincinnati, and their children, Emily Bruce of Tempe, Arizona and Caroline Bruce of Athens; a step-sister, Jillian (Drew) Bruce-Downy, and their children Tucker & Cooper; an aunt, Carolyn Barnett of Knoxville, Tennessee; and a cousin, Michelle Weins-Brown of Van Leer, Tennessee.

A 1976 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, Kevin attended The Ohio State University and earned his Professional Surveyors License, and was the owner of Lee Surveying & Mapping. He was a member of the Public Land Surveyor Organization (PLSO) and Liberty Hills Golf Club.

Pastor Matt Sandlin will officiate a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
