Zachariah William Keller, 24, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012, as a result of an automobile accident on County Road 1 in Bellefontaine. He was born October 30, 1987, and is survived by his mother and step-father, Mary and Dan (Pittman) Noffsinger and his father, Gary L. Keller, all of Bellefontaine.
He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Peggy J. Pittman and his paternal grandmother, Jeanne Keller, both of Bellefontaine; grandparents, Dale (Elaine) Noffsinger of Anna; his brother, Ian Keller of Bellefontaine, three sisters; Abbey Keller of Bellefontaine, Lanessa Noffsinger of Sidney, and Brynn Noffsinger of Bellefontaine; his girlfriend, Susan Mahoney of Lewistown; uncles, Robert (Deb) Keller of Bellefontaine, Del Noffsinger and Dod (Diane) Noffsinger, both of Anna; aunts, Tina Houchin and Patty Stringer, both of Bellefontaine, and Linda Watren of Sidney; a niece, Keira Manahan of Bellefontaine; cousins, Kyle Coons, Devin and Drew Houchin, Nick and Mindy Tillman, Bill Keller and many other cousins, and all of his beloved friends at TP Bowling Lanes.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John C. Pittman and his paternal grandfather, William Keller.
Zack was a 2006 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and had attended Wright State University in Dayton. He enjoyed working on cars and auto racing. He worked as manager of TP Bowling Lanes in Bellefontaine and was a very accomplished bowler. He enjoyed mentoring young bowlers to love the game as he did. He scored nine 300 games and was the youngest ever to score 300 at TP Lanes. Zack had five career 800 series, an 842 high series, and a 231 high average. Zack and his teammates won four city tournament championships and set the house record for a four man team of 2740.
The funeral service will be held Monday, August 20, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at the Christ Our King Church 1325 Co. Rd. 9 N. in Bellefontaine, with Pastor Bryan Meadows officiating. Calling hours are Sunday, August 19, 2012, from 2 to 8 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Interment will be in the Bellefontaine Cemetery at a later date.
