Zelma Richardson Orsborn, 101, of West Liberty, died at 5:30am Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Green Hills Skilled Care where she had received excellent care for the past three years.
She was born at home on the family farm outside Zanesfield, on September 25, 1917, the daughter of Imogene Cooksey Richardson and Elmer Richardson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jonathan Richardson, a son-in law, five sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law, one niece, and two nephews.
On January 15, 1938, Zelma married Paul Orsborn; the marriage lasted 69 years, until Paul’s death in 2007. She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Hover of Pensacola FL, and Patricia Benedict of Madison WI, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, three first cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
At the time of her death she was a member of the McKee’s Creek Chapel.
A memorial service is planned for a later date.
The arrangements are being handled by the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
